  2. DJLP.... SERIOUSLY? What does DALLAS PURPLE PARTY have to do with any of this? And why would you or anyone else compare DISNEY attendance to PURPLE? One has NOTHING to do with the other.

PURPLE has remained neutral during all of this Disney Drama kept to themselves and concentrated on making their own event successful.

DALLAS PURPLE PARTY is a CHARITY event that has grown over the past 10 years. YES, they did have RECORD ATTENDANCE this year. YES, they raised more money for their charity than ever. YES, they had more people from out of town than previous years. And YES they threw one hell of a party!!! So please explain how this qualifies as a TOTAL JOKE as you mention in your post, and WHY you would mention PURPLE at ALL?

    Please note the following:
DALLAS PURPLE PARTY is 100% Volunteer
DALLAS PURPLE PARTY is 100% Non-profit

Every penny PURPLE raises is donated to AIDS SERVICES OF DALLAS and provides housing, medical care, food, transportation, child care, and hospice services to people living with AIDS. Peoples lives literally depend on the money raised at PURPLE.
Every board member and volunteer involved donates their time, talent and energy for FREE. Hear that... FREE.

So please explain your motive for bashing a charity event that has NOTHING to do with DISNEY, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

  3. I am not sure what the big deal is about all this. I read this post, and as anyone knows who was at the events this year, they were totally packed, amazing for a recovery year. And if you weren't there, you only have to see the dozens of youtube and facebook videos and photos to know that the these comments are completely false.

That said, I did some research on JustCircuit, because I had no idea who or what you were talking about. It seems they have a website and magazine, though they don't really cover anything related to circuit parties. Hardly any events since last year are even on their website. The magazine seems to be online only. So, why is anyone concerned with an organization that no one knows about?

As for the Purple party stuff, not sure why that was dragged into this conversation at al, I have to agree. Although it does look like Purple Party and JustCircuit work together closely from the websites, which would be a black eye for sure for a charity organization.

  4. I guess you are right Trevor I should have no brought up the Purple Party but I had just read the article about JC praising the purple party and then trying to fabricate and make Disney seem the least successful when that was not true or even close. Yes the events don't compare. I will say Purple party was a bit disorganized and I was comparing it to Disney in my mind after seeing the agenda Just Circuit is on. So I guess guilt by association played in my mind. My advice to Purple Party is run now as fast as you can. I will delete my comment above. I apologize and I agree that all you said about the Purple Party.
